WTE Persuasive Sentences

In english we are tasked to write 3 sentences to persuade a reader to agree with your opinion of a modern issue. I have chosen to persuade about the topic of trans athletes in sports. We are to use Write That Essay formats when writing our arguments. We have an LO, LO: We are learning to express our views on a topical issue using ‘Write That Essay’ sentences.

Should transgender athletes be allowed to compete in athletic events?

Transgender athletes competing in official competitive sports creates an example of community, respect, and a bit of a challenge. (#4)

With the growing number of transgender in sport the problem starts to fall on the previously male members even though rules have been made to keep sports fair. (#11)

Trans in sports is a storm, it’s ripping up tradition an tossing it down the street, it already has solutions so if we stop seeing it as a problem we won't have a problem. (#3)

Film Aspect Paragraph

For english we are looking at film study and had to write S.E.X.X.Y paragraphs, Statement, Evidence, Explanation of directors purpose, Explanation of effect, Your link, about the lighting in this scene of 'The Power Of One'. So here is an image of it and the paragraph:

The lighting is used effectively to create a dark and foreboding atmosphere. The light coming from behind makes the location seem like a back street alley, while the wall would hide them from the view of the singing tribes. It would make suspense and puts them in a secluded area where other guards can’t see to stop them. It causes worry and fear, it makes viewers wonder what lengths the guard will go to. You can contrast this to the earlier scene with the guard where if they had gotten into a fight there would be other guards to stop them.

Narrative Arc

For our english work we will be writing a narrative but first we were told to make a narrative arc. My narrative is called Eevee Incarnation which is about a guy that dies and is reincarnated as an eevee. Here is a link to the narrative arc:

I can't insert it as a video since it's confusing so this will have to do.

Pokemon The Movie 2000 Narrative Arc

During the covid-19 lockdown we have been working from home and have things to do for each of our classes. Before we entered the lockdown we were learning about narratives and narrative arcs in english. One of our work from home tasks was to create a narrative arc about a story or movie of our choosing. I chose to do mine on Pokemon The Movie 2000 also known as The Power Of One.
So here it is:
The format of the narrative arc applies to any story:
Exposition: Where we start out.
Inciting Incident: What sparks the adventure.
Rising Action: The lead up to the strongest part of the story.
Climax: The place where something like a big battle would happen.
Falling Action: What happens after the big battle.
Resolution/Denouement: Where the story finishes.
