In maths over the past long time we were learning about financial literacy. Stuff to do with wages and salary and GST and tax and overtime pay.
Wages - an amount you get depending on how many hours you work in a day.
Salary - is to do with a set amount of money you get paid each week.
GST - means goods and services tax, which is money sent to the government when you buy something.
Tax - money paid to the government for services like medical to be free. The amount of tax you give can change due to how much you're paid.
Overtime pay - extra money you get after working more than your usual daily hours. You can get paid 1.5 times the hourly amount or double the hourly time.

Money Math
For math we have been learning about money and percentages around increasing and decreasing wages, prices or salaries. It is like 50% off sales but a bit more complicated because maths likes to do that. You can increase a price by a certain percentage by typing: 1.percentage x price. You can decrease a price by typing: 0.percentage x price = ans _ 100 - ans. The end.
