Narrative writing 2

For writing we have been doing a narrative based off a fairy tale. My narrative is based off of 'The Little Train That Could' but instead it is called 'The Little Dragon Who Could'. So far we have decided the characters and their names, the title, the first paragraph and the problem. Here is my problem so far:

It was a letter, the mail Mimi delivered, just wait and you’ll see. She was getting ready to fly away,
“Don’t plummet” Burtie wanted to say. Burtie scared her with his large size, so she plummeted to
everyone’s surprise. Count-Memeasaurus chased falling Mimi down, he caught her just before she hit
the ground. Burtie was scolded by his brother burt, after Mimi said she nearly got hurt. Mimi jumped
off to catch a lift, Mimi caught one giving her height to the point where she thought it was a spirits gift.
On the way to the address she almost plummeted multiple times,

Narrative Writing

For writing we have been doing a narrative based off a fairy tale. My narrative is based off of 'The Little Train That Could' but instead it is called 'The Little Dragon Who Could'. So far we have decided the characters and their names, the title and the first paragraph. Here is mine so far:

The Little Dragon Who Could

Welcome to a world from a kids imagination, it’ll give you a good sensation. One with dragons and
letters and mail galore, So much so that it will make your eyes sore. This story takes place in a great big,
windy canyon, with a dragon getting shot out of a cannon. This little dragon was named Mimi, and she
was quite cute if you ask me. Her wings were small and it was hard to fly, she flapped her wings both
hard and fast she could come to do it if she’d try. “Mimi I need your help,” yelled mailman one day,
“What for,” Mimi asked in dismay. “To fly to the city and deliver mail,” he said in reply, “NO!” she
shouted, “I CAN’T EVEN FLY.”

Solvemoji puzzle

for math we have been doing solvemoji puzzles we had a final task to create a DLO of our own solvemoji puzzles here is mine:

Leave a comment about what you think each of the emojis are and the answer to the final question.

Google a day question

For cybersmart this week we were given a week to search up and find out the answer to a question, the question was:

Explorers from Kushiro, Pevek and Namsos arrive at the north pole and check their watches. If they arrived at 11:42am (Kushiro), 12:17pm (Pevek) and 3:00am (Namsos), which team was first?

The answer to the question is simple Pevek arrived first, Namsos second and Kushiro third. To find out the answer I searched up the time differences between the three places and changed all the different country's time into one's time. I changed all the times into Namsos time and ended up with 4:42am for Kushiro, 2:17am for Pevek and 3:00am for Namsos.

Narrative Writing

For the last term and a bit we have been working on narrative writing, we also wrote a personal narrative. A narrative about ourselves here is mine;
A Shopping Disaster
On a Sunday morning I was at the hub with my mum and sister, we were going to EB games. We
were going to buy something for me to use with my devices. Little did we know that they would be
missing and we would be empty handed.

We had walked up to the counter to ask if they had what we wanted. They quickly searched up the
number to see if they had any in stock. They didn’t have it in the end and said they might have
something else.

We moved over to where the “something else” would have been but it wasn’t there. They apologized
and suggested ordering it online. The problem with that is it costs more money. We left EB games
with empty hands and full wallets.

As we walked through the hub to another shop I spoke. I asked, “can we go to South Hornby?”
Mum replied, “no.” I really wanted a stylus, a fancy pen for Nintendoes.

Luckily in the end we just ordered it online at the EB games website. It came a few days later in the
post, I was thrilled! But that's when a disaster happened…
