How To Make A Dog

I made this word cartoon for my reading activity.

How to make a dog out of dog in google drawings:

1. Get a text box and write in it d o g with the spaces.

2. Then click the arrow button beside line and click scribble. After that draw a semi-circle on the d.

3. Next go into  shapes and click circle and make the circle about the same size as the o. Then put it in the top right hand corner of the o just touching it.

4. Then add a line from the centre of the circle to the top of the d.

5. After that get another line and put it from the bottom right hand corner of the o to the top of the g.

6. Then make a small line going across the tail of the g.

7. Then use a black circle in the middle of the g like on slide 32.

8. Then add little black circles for eyes in the middle of the o and the circle by that.

9. Then use scribble again like in step 2 and draw a curve like in slide 43.

10. Next use the scribble again and do a curve from the bottom of the d like in slide 47.

11. Then add a rectangle and place so it touches the end of the curves you just added (the ends without anything touching them).

12. Inside the rectangle place three dots of any colour.

13. Click the rectangle and make it any colour.

14. Lastly fill the dog with scribbles of any colour.

now you have turned the word dog into a dog.

  1. Hello Thomas, I really liked this slideshow it helped me make a dog and probably many other people. Maybe you could have put more colour into it because its not that bright or you could off put a video of you making it with a voice over. Happy Bloging

  2. Hi Thomas
This is amazing I never knew that you could make a pic out of a word like that.

Next time just saying maybe you could have less slides that are the same so its not as long

    well done

    1. Hi Michaela,
I will improve it in the future but it is like that for now. Also do you want me to do a fish out of fish?
