This time for EOTC week I am doing a task where I have to plan a trip for my family to Spencer park for only $50. Here's what I would do:
I would go to Couplands and spend $30 on lunch food for our picnic and bring some liquid refreshments from home. We would also bring the dog so we can give it exercise her, we will start our trip by going with Hillary down the Waimakariri trail and back. After that we will eat our picnic lunch before going on the Brooklands lagoon track and then home so Hillary can rest.

I wonder if you could have included a photo to make this post stand out? I would be interested in seeing what your puppy Hillary looks like!
