problem solving (Sample Space)

For maths we have been doing sample spaces, a sample space is a list of possible outcomes. For a final question we had to explain a answer to a question on our blog. Here is the question:


And here is the explained answer:

The answer is no because it would not be fair because the sample space for two six sided dice is
{1-1,1-2,1-3,1-4,1-5,1-6,2-2,2-3,2-4,2-5,2-6,3-3,3-4,3-5,3-6,4-4,4-5,4-6,5-5,5-6,6-6}
and a 12 sided die is
{1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12}.

If you don't understand that here is it simplified:
It is not fair because you can't role a one and it is harder to role doubles and there are more combinations for seven than any other number. Where as on a 12 sided die there is a fair chance of it landing on any number.

Narrative writing 2

For writing we have been doing a narrative based off a fairy tale. My narrative is based off of 'The Little Train That Could' but instead it is called 'The Little Dragon Who Could'. So far we have decided the characters and their names, the title, the first paragraph and the problem. Here is my problem so far:

It was a letter, the mail Mimi delivered, just wait and you’ll see. She was getting ready to fly away,
“Don’t plummet” Burtie wanted to say. Burtie scared her with his large size, so she plummeted to
everyone’s surprise. Count-Memeasaurus chased falling Mimi down, he caught her just before she hit
the ground. Burtie was scolded by his brother burt, after Mimi said she nearly got hurt. Mimi jumped
off to catch a lift, Mimi caught one giving her height to the point where she thought it was a spirits gift.
On the way to the address she almost plummeted multiple times,

Narrative Writing

The Little Dragon Who Could

Welcome to a world from a kids imagination, it’ll give you a good sensation. One with dragons and
letters and mail galore, So much so that it will make your eyes sore. This story takes place in a great big,
windy canyon, with a dragon getting shot out of a cannon. This little dragon was named Mimi, and she
was quite cute if you ask me. Her wings were small and it was hard to fly, she flapped her wings both
hard and fast she could come to do it if she’d try. “Mimi I need your help,” yelled mailman one day,
“What for,” Mimi asked in dismay. “To fly to the city and deliver mail,” he said in reply, “NO!” she
shouted, “I CAN’T EVEN FLY.”

Google a day question

For cybersmart this week we were given a week to search up and find out the answer to a question, the question was:

Explorers from Kushiro, Pevek and Namsos arrive at the north pole and check their watches. If they arrived at 11:42am (Kushiro), 12:17pm (Pevek) and 3:00am (Namsos), which team was first?

The answer to the question is simple Pevek arrived first, Namsos second and Kushiro third. To find out the answer I searched up the time differences between the three places and changed all the different country's time into one's time. I changed all the times into Namsos time and ended up with 4:42am for Kushiro, 2:17am for Pevek and 3:00am for Namsos.
