Today for writing we have to write either the perspective of the dog or the girl from the music video happier in first person. I have chosen to do the perspective of the dog. So here it is:
I'm being carried through the air but I don't know why, I think I'm being carried somewhere to someone. I thought as I was held above the ground, at that moment I saw I was being carried towards a human girl. Oh boy am I gonna get to play with her.... whats that in her hand is it for me maybe just maybe. I realized that it was small bow and then it hit me it is for me I'm going to play with and get gifts from this human girl. Then it stuck to me and wouldn't get off but I was still glad this human girl was going to play with me.
This was a great task and the music video was also great, except for the sad bit at the end. I liked the task because if you do the dog you get to write down what you think it would be thinking. Leave a comment on what you thought of my writing.

Thomas, great work! You have a clear intro, main body and conclusion. Your piece is clear, concise and really evokes emotion.
ReplyDeleteI like how you even used italics to indicate where the dog was thinking, rather than using quotation marks which would represent speech. It is clever that you caught on to this type of punctuation and shows me the high quality of writing you are capable of!
